Samsung has gone through a lot of stiff competition before launching their Galaxy smartphones which have somewhat helped them recapture some of the lost grounds in the mobile handset market. The new models of Galaxy that have been launched have been modified a lot and are far more powerful than the earlier ones. These models have been designed to perfection and have great stylish looks about them. The latest Samsung Galaxy R has got some great features being installed in them. It has been sharp all the way. It has got some great beauty about it and looks really like a ‘smart’ phone as well. The handset is slim in design and is not of too much weight either.  The 66 x 125 mm dimension is pretty to look at and it goes into your pocket very easily as well. 

But somewhat the weight is about 132 g which is not a real huge amount but probably a bit heavier than its contemporaries but can be easily portable. The 4.19 inch display with 480 x 800 resolutions it provides one of the largest screens available in the market. The screen is made of a tough glass and is not easily breakable. It has got Samsung sensors installed in it which gives a lot of productivity. The 5 MP cameras is one thing where Samsung has given a lot of hard work and its results are good. The picture quality of the photos that are taken on this camera is awesome and hence they have got great depth and clarity on the images. It is one of the best parts of the camera. The LED flash helps out in taking photo shoots even in dim light.

There is also a second camera in the front which helps in video calling even though it is only of 1.3 mega pixels. The video quality is also very good and it is something where you can take HD quality videos as well. According to the performance the 1 GHz processor works superbly and the Android OS 2.3 (Gingerbread) comes with a great user interface to say the least. The productivity is great and the power of the processor is a real boost up one. The battery backup is also very good to come along it and can have a long battery life as well. The internal memory is 8GB and it can be expanded up to 32 GB.
