Apple On The Way To Launch iTunes store in Latin America

Apple has finally been known to open its iTunes store containing music and movie in total 16 Latin American countries. The company has posted in its official website that the store will contain all of the local and international music of all chief and famous labels. Users will be able to choose from 20 million song and 1000 movies in the primary stage. The company has not yet declared anything about the television shows. The Latin American countries that will enjoy the iTunes store are Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, , Honduras, , Paraguay, Peru and Venezuela.

On the price issue the company has mentioned that the pricing will be almost the same as in the United state countries. Generally most of the song and albums range $0.99 and $9.99 respectively. The company has also mentioned that the cost has been fixed in U.S. dollars and that is why people will have to use their International credit cards. But the company has also assured that the local Latin American currency will be allowed from next year – most probably within the coming six months.

The Cupertino based company has also announced to launch a special iTunes match service for Brazilian Apple customers for just $24.99 per year. It happened for the first time that the company allowed users from outside countries of United states to use the cloud locker service. The cloud locker service is something that allows the users to download purchased items multiple times from the iTunes cloud. Apple introduced the iTunes match in the last November and assured that the service will be available all around the world.

That is no doubt great news for Apple lovers in Latin America. From now on they will also be to enjoy the Apple services like customers from United States.
