Canon launches two new printers to the world, the multi-function PIXMA MG5320 Wireless Photo All-In-One and the single-function PIXMA iP4920 Photo Inkjet Printer. Each printer can be use either at home or office.
Canon PIXMA MG5320 Wireless Photo All-In-One Printer
This unit can be bought at a price of $150. It has included five individual ink tanks and can produce a 4-by-6-inch borderless photo in just 20 seconds.
Each print has a maximum color resolution of 9600-by-2400 dpi. This printer can deliver black and white prints at approximately 12.5 ppm (prints per minute) and color prints at approximately 9.3 ppm. The unit also comes with auto duplex printing function for paper conservation and a two-way paper feed for reducing the amount of time needed to complete a printing job. The LCD panel can now be seen at the middle of the printer. Also, the size has change; it is now increased to three inches.
PIXMA iP4920 Inkjet Photo Printer
This Inkjet Photo Printer has a single-function model that comes with the same ChromaLife100 + ink system as the MG5320. The unit has the capability to create 4-by 6-inch borderless photo in just 20 seconds.
The unit delivers black and white photo print within 12.5 ppm and color prints at approximately 9.3 ppm. The maximum resolution for printing is 9600-by-2400 dpi and features an auto duplex printing capability.
Software updates
Canon has incorporated the Fun Filter Effects to its Easy-PhotoPrint EX software, which has a similar concept with scene modes found on the company’s PowerShot digital camera line. One can also customize images by using the Fish-Eye, Miniature, and Toy Camera effects. One could also easily change the focus of the image to let it appear softer or to blur parts of the image’s background.
The two PIXMA printers have the capability to be printed directly to CDs, DVDs, and Blue-ray discs.
Full HD Movie Print software now enhanced. Producing clearer images of frames from videos captured on compatible HD Canon EOS and PowerShot Digital Cameras. The same technology allows users to merge multiple images into one picture. Lastly, a new layout feature allowing users to print up to 72 individual images on one sheet of paper.
More printing options
For those users who registered with the Canon Image Gateway service or Picasa Web Albums, Canon offers the PIXMA Cloud Link, which enables anyone to print photos from photo albums stored in those services directly via the PIXMA MG5320 printer even without the use of computer. The users also has the option of accessing the templates.
PIXMA MG5320 is WI FI certified, meaning that it can print anything even without a cable attached to it.
