Google Added Live Transit Updates On Google Maps

Google maps for the mobile and desktops has now been adding with live transit updates, which is quite being able to tell you when your ride is actually going to arrive. In this purpose Google has also partnered with transit agencies in order to transits live data in four US cities as well as tow European cities like Boston, Portland, San Francisco, San Diego, Turin and Madrid.

The features have not been rolled out only for Google Maps on all the supported desktop, mobile browsers as well as latest version of the Google Maps for Mobile. But this search giant in now only supports iOS and Android, but for the other mobile browsers it has not detailed its plan to add more support.

This new addition of this Map will also include the live departure time which is indicated here by a special icon as well as necessary service alerts. So you can easily click on the transits section in order to find out much more information as well as plan a transit root which will show you the details of delays or alert related to your trip.

But this roll out is too much small, because it is a typical for Google strategy in order to roll out their brand new features. Though, the company already declared that it is now still working with its public transits partners in order to provide live data to more people in more cities. But I am sorry to say that they have not even declared any time line or additional further details of that.
