NSFW Tweets Take Place In Twitter For API

Earlier this week a post appear in the website of Twitter’s developer by stating that they have now added the ability of filtering NSFW tweets to its API services.

In this mater Twitter have also declared that with the help of it the user of it will get the benefit of tagging their own tweets as “possibly sensitive”. Also, users will be able to filter out some of the incoming tweets with the help of the equal tag.

But you should have to remember that no one can remove sensitive tweets from this social networking website, though anyone can targeted that simply being with a warning (It is only for those who never wish to view such kind of contents.).

On the other hand, it will provide anyone the ability of tagging your material as sensitive for sending that Twitter information for a further review.

In the mean time, the developer of it are also sending a message to the customer by stating that only the tweets with an existing link will initiate in this new field. But the link itself may or may not to be considered in this NSFW, as it is not the original content of this tweet.

The entire product is currently under testing phase, where API can not ever be relied upon for its accuracy.

“Sensitive material” always varies from one user to the next, while the Twitter’s Media Policy are suggesting for labeling any content which contains violence, nudity or medical procedure as sensitive. Social networking authority Twitter also claimed that they will not mediate any content, though currently it can not be used for any unlawful purpose.

This also indicating if anyone uploads any image which is illegal will be removed or account will be suspended for a certain period.

It is expected that this will lead the Twitter API services towards a similar service which will use to tag spam post.
