HP’s New Invention ELITE BOOK 8460P Notebook

After launching the business purpose notebook named proBook 6360p a few months before, HP is now planning on introducing another notebook of the same class but more advanced way.  The new business purpose notebook from HP will be called the EliteBook 8460p.

Apparently the two notebooks look almost similar, but there are definitely some mark able differences. The ProBook has a tungsten tin color, while the EliteBook has a stylish platinum color. The EliteBook is thinner and heavier than the ProBook and the touch pad of EliteBook is 0.5 inch wider than the ProBook. But the both are associated with the HP’s signature feature of Dura finish smudge, which is protects the devices from scratches and keeps their newer look for a long time.

The all new EliteBook is going to offer its users a pretty good number of specs. The notebook will run on Intel’s Core i5 – 2520M processor. It will be associated with 4 GB DDR3 memory and hard disk of 320 GB.

Among other outstanding configurations that the EliteBook will offer are the thin 13.31 x 9.11 x 1.25 inch resolution , 14 inch LED backlit HD display, integrated webcam, 6 cell Li- Lon battery that is claimed to provide run time of 32 Hrs, v 2.1 Bluetooth, two USB 3.0 ports, SD/MMC card reader, 54 mm Express Card slot, optical drive.

Instead of having a back light the HP EliteBook has a small pop out keyboard light situated beside the webcam, which lies at the top of the display, but in that case the style is the all because the pop – out keyboard light is not of use. HP has designed the notebook in Lenovo’s style by including a point stick and dual pick bottoms.

The new EliteBook is expected to cost $ 300 than the PreBook, but the price is not much is you consider its features.
