The news has spread that the leading mobile manufacturing company Motorola Mobility and the well known Verizon Wireless, one of the largest mobile network operators in the United States are going to host a press event jointly. The Press Event is announced to be held in New York on October 18. What they are going to announce is hardly guessed from the invitation and the associated video. But there are obviously numbers of rumor about the content of the announcement. Motorola has claimed in the invitation that next Tuesday the mobile world will witnessed the best ever thing from Motorola Mobility. Although from the tagline written in their invitation “Faster. Thinner. Smarter. Stronger.” we cannot clearly understand what we should expect to see in the press event on next Tuesday.

However, most of the people are expecting to witness the launching program of Motorola Xoom 2 tablet. The original Motorola Xoom was introduced in last Friday. Although there are not much leaked information about the expected Motorola Xoom 2 the sources at least are saying that the new tablet will come in a more industrial look than the original Xoom. Among the hardware features the only assumptions are that the device will offer 4G LTE support and quad – core Kal – EI processor. Except from this there is no hardware speculation about the device.

According to SlashGear, the weblog published by R3 Media LLC, in the press event some new mobile handsets will be unveiled. Among the expected mobile handsets one is the Atrix 2. Some speculations about the Atrix 2 are the 4.3 – inch qHD screen and dual core processor.

Another expected gadget that is expected to make appearance on the event is the Droid Razr. The device is expected to come with dual core 1.2 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM, super AMOLED display, 4G LET support etc.
