There are millions of people in the world who admire Apple’s productions. Although Apple’s last released iPhone 4S have not made users much happy it could not make much difference to Apple’s popularity among people. A recent study conducted by the market analysts of the market research firm comScore has claimed that one out of every 10 mobile phone users in the United States uses iPhone.

According to the renowned market research firm during the third quarter of 2011 Apple has managed to secure the 4^th position in the list of top ten mobile manufacturers in the United States. The market shares of Apple’s iPhone devices rose to 10.8 per cent in the Q3 of 2011 while during the previous quarter their market share was 9.5 per cent.

Following previous records Samsung is still in the 1^st position in mobile manufacturing in United States. Market share for Samsung’s mobile handsets was 25.5 per cent in the last three months ending with October. Samsung is followed by LG and Motorola. Market share for the mobile handsets of LG was 20.6 per cent in the Q3 while Motorola secured 13.6 per cent.

According to the market analysis of another research firm Xinhua the manufacturer of BlackBerry Research In Motion, abbreviated as RIM is following Apple with market share of 6.6 per cent.

The tech giant Apple revealed their first iPhone in the year 2007. Apple’s then CEO Steve Jobs revealed the iphone on 9^th January 2007 and the phone entered the market on 29^th June of that very year. Since then Apple has presented us many awesome iPhones. The latest of them the iPhone 4S was announced on 4^th October 2011 and it made the entry on 14^th October 2011. However, the iPhone 4S did not fulfill the huge amount of expectations of people and in fact disgusted them to some extent. But that does not seem to harm Apple’s popularity.
