Little earlier the software giant Microsoft has released its new second version of Internet Explorer 10. You can easily download it now directly from the Microsoft Download Center. Microsoft has demanded that this version will available in their website until the Windows 8 is released, but additionally they cleared that this version will only support Windows 7 32 bit or Windows 7 64 bit operating system.

Internet Explorer 10 Platform Preview 2 is built up with some mind blowing technology including HTML5 Drag-drop, Media Query Listeners, CSS3 Positioned Floats, File Reader API and initial support for HTML5 Forms. Aside from that the performance of HTML 5 application has been improved here across the board and the entire ability for providing better performance has improved here much more better than earlier with the addition of some new technologies including a sync script support, Channel Messaging, Web Works and many more. Also the security of the web application has improved here quite a lot with the support of HTML 5 and iframe isolation.

Internet Explorer 10 or IE10 is expected to be the supported version of Internet Explorer which is expected to release with Windows 8, additionally Windows 8 that is expected to come in the year 2012. With the sequence to the fact Microsoft has released the first platform preview of IE 9 on 16th march 2010 and after that released their final version of IE9 on 14 March 2011. So IE 10 must release in 2012. I am hoping that it must take much more lesser time to develop than IE9. If the rumor says that Windows 8 will release in April 2012 then it should release earlier of April 2012.

Though, Microsoft has promised to release a new platform preview of Internet Explorer approximately every 12 weeks interval. Simultaneously IE 10 PP1 has released on April 12, 2011 which is about 11 weeks ago from this time. So the promise seems quite true.
