Nokia’s Next Plan To Launch Windows 8 Tab By The Next Year

Nokia’s French division manager Paul Amsellem in his communication with the newspaper Les Echos has mentioned that Nokia is going to set foot in the tablet world in the very next year. The giant Finnish mobile manufacturing company is expected to launch a tab designed with Microsoft’s Windows 8 operating system. He has mentioned that Nokia is planning on giving Apple a tough competition in the tab market.

Paul Amsellem has also mentioned that after Lumia 800 Nokia is going to launch another Windows 7 based mobile handset which is expected to make the bonding of Nokia and Microsoft created out of Lumia 800, stronger.  The Lumia 800 has entered the market of Europe on 19th Nov. 2011 and it is expected to be available in United States in 2012.

The proposed higher-end ‘Series 7’ Nokia phone is believed to overcome the defects of the Lumia 800. The Lumia 800 has many negative points. Some of them are the absence of front view camera, the absence of 4G connectivity, only 512 MB of RAM memory and the Single core processor. The coming model will be named the Nokia Ace or Nokia 900. Some sources suggest that Nokia will publicly display the Nokia Ace or the Nokia 900 at the London Design Museum.

In the last week another tech giant Samsung also announced their Windows 8 based tablet to be launched in 2012. It will be a revised version of the former series 7 line up. The series 7 line up was designed with Windows 7.  Previous version of Samsung’s Windows 8 tab was associated with 11.6 in display, Intel second-generation Core i5 processor and 4 GB of Ram memory. People who bought them have mentioned that it is heavier than Apple iPad and most of the Android tabs. They have also complaint of the noisy fan inside it.
