Toshiba is also entering the market of tablets and given the technology they are using in their products it should never be much problem for them to capture a fair share of the market. The new Thrive has some great additional features that make it unique from many other tablets to the good. Be it the full sized USB ports to the adding of a few riffs to the Honeycomb theme, the Thrive has it all to have a fair bite of cherry. The attractive back cover is made of rubber and is really stylish in its looks and charming for customers.it is easy to grip and comfortable to carry even though it is a little too heavy for your liking. The 1.6pounds is fairly heavier and thicker compared to Samsung galaxy Tab.

The back cover can be replaced too and different colors are available to serve the purpose. There is the front and rear cameras that help you take photos at will. The 10.1 inch glossy screen with resolution of 1280x 800 provides good vibrant colors with high aspect ratio and contrast that helps you even in direct sunlight. Also the brightness is fairly high too. The Resolution+ technology helps in making standard definition videos look sharper than normal.  The built in speaker is perfect to serve your purpose of listening to your favorite tunes in the most emphatic way. The Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS is a standard one but the interface is good and switching of desktops also brings flexibility in your choice. The multi-tasking key in the bottom left corner also helps a lot. The full size ports at the sides are really useful and make this an unique tablet for sure.

The 1 GHz NVidia Tegra 2 processor with 1 GB RAM is terrific in its performance and holds all the acts together of this small machine. Gaming is easy and playing HD movies is also great. The Thrive’s back facing 5 Mega pixel camera is also fairly good in capturing sharp quality images. The Camera however lacks a flash but in spite of that photos were detailed when captured even in low light which proves that not always a flash is required for taking images. The battery life is fairly long extending over 6 hours which is comparatively long for any tablet of its kind. In conclusion the 16GB model comes at a price of $49 which is an attractive price for the given tablet.
