Small, light and inexpensive netbooks are not yet back dated. Although the eminent computer manufacturing companies like Samsung and Dell always emphasize on high-end products the mini netbooks are still in the race. Asus the manufacturing company, famous for delivering those mini netbooks introduced the first line up of the mini netbooks in 2008. Since then the company has presented us many small, light weight and affordable netbooks. Most recently Asus announced its forthcoming Eee Personal Computer based on AMD’s Brazos platform.
The aforementioned PC is believed to be a more revised version of the existing Asus 1215B model. The Eee PC 1225B will appear in two differently configured models. One of them will have dual-core AMD E450 APU processor fixed at 1.65 GHz and the other one will have dual-core AMD C60 APU processor fixed at 1.0 GHz. The Eee PC 1225B will offer 11.6-inch with 1366 x 768 resolutions and LED backlit display, RAM or 2GB or 4GB, Radeon HD 6290 graphics with DirectX 11 support or Radeon HD 6320 and the operating system will be the Windows 7 Home Premium. This will be the basic specs of the Eee PC 1225B.
Among the other features the mentionable features are the 320GB, 500GB or 750GB hard disk, 3MP camera, 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, version 3.0 Bluetooth and HS, one USB 2.0, couple of USB 3.0 ports, SD/SDHC/SDXC/MMC card reader, one HDMI output for 1080p full HD video playback. The 6-cell 56Wh Li-ion battery will provide up to 7 hours of standby time.
The Asus Eee PC 1225B will come in various colors including black, white, red, grey and silver. However the company has not yet declared any price information and launching date of the Asus Eee PC 1225B. According to experts it will be good for Asus to target the low price section.
