Blackberry was about to launch their QNX based smartphone in the first quarter of 2012. But recently the company has declared that the launching will be delayed until the end of 2012. Research In Motion co-CEO Mike Lazaridis in an Investor Call in the last night has cited that they are really very sorry for the delay launching. He has expressed apologies and requested people to keep patience and have faith in RIM.
Apple has finally been known to open its iTunes store containing music and movie in total 16 Latin American countries. The company has posted in its official website that the store will contain all of the local and international music of all chief and famous labels. Users will be able to choose from 20 million song and 1000 movies in the primary stage. The company has not yet declared anything about the television shows. The Latin American countries that will enjoy the iTunes store are Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, , Honduras, , Paraguay, Peru and Venezuela.
DigiTimes has revealed that Asus is going to launch their latest ultrabook type laptop which will offer the same transportability facility like tablet. Asus has claimed to design the new laptop with swivel feature that will allow it to convert in to a tablet. The device is believed to make its first debut at the next Computex in Taipei in Taiwan in the coming year although Asus has not yet officially declared any name for the device. The device is expected to be available in market for sale when Microsoft will release its latest Windows 8 Operating System in the next year.
Samsung has spent the whole year fighting with Apple over patent issues. Apple has claimed that the Korean tech giant has copied their iphones and ipads into Galaxy series smartpho0nes and tabs. Samsung has suffered ban in place over the sale of Samsung Galaxy tabs. They even were forced to redesign their Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1 in Germany to dodge the ban over the sale in the country.
The Ultrabooks from Acer are expected to earn a pretty good profit for the company, the CEO of Acer J.T. Wang has mentioned. While talking to Dow Jones Newswire the CEO has mentioned that users are going to really love the ultrabooks due to their thinner design, lighter weight and longer battery life than before and selling more and more ultrabooks will fetch good profit for Acer because ultrabooks come in comparatively higher prices. Wang believes that Acer will fix the price of ultrbooks around $ 699.
